“Somewhere In Africa” Tops NAFCA Nominations

The Nollywood & African Film Critics’ Awards (NAFCA) has released its nomination list, with ‘Somewhere in Africa’ taking the lead in the Ghanaian movie industry with 12 nominations. ‘Somewhere In Africa’, directed by Frank Rajah, has a gripping story which most movie enthusiasts are still waiting to see. It was supposed to be premiered a couple of weeks ago but was postponed. It is yet to grace the big screens, yet the movie which featured Majid Michel, Martha Ankomah, Eddie Nartey, Kofi Adjorlolo and others has bagged a lot of NAFCA nominations. The award, which is the maiden edition, will be held annually in September, in Raleigh, North Carolina, U.S.A. The award will take place on September 16 and 17 at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel & Convention Center, Durham, North Carolina.
